Maggie’s Cuddle Crew Terms & Conditions

By booking services with Maggie's Cuddle Crew, the client (referred to as "Owner") agrees to the following terms and conditions regarding the care of their pet(s).
1. Services & Scheduling
- Scope of Care: We agree to provide the services specifically requested by the Owner (e.g., boarding, daycare, house-sitting, or drop-in visits) as outlined in the booking confirmation.
- Meet & Greet: All new clients must complete a "Meet & Greet" prior to the first service. This allows us to assess the pet’s temperament and discuss specific care requirements.
- Reservations: Services are not confirmed until a booking request is accepted and any required deposit is paid.
2. Payment & Cancellations
- Rates: Current rates are listed on our website and are subject to change with notice.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 2 hours in advance are could be subject to a cancellation fee.
3. Pet Health & Safety
- Vaccinations: Owner certifies that all pets are up-to-date on Rabies, Distemper, and other required vaccines. Proof of vaccination must be provided upon request.
- Parasites: Pets must be on a regular flea and tick preventative. If parasites are found, the pet will be treated at the Owner’s expense.
- Behavior: Owner must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or excessive anxiety. We reserve the right to terminate service if a pet poses a safety risk to our staff or other animals.
4. Medical Emergencies
- Authorization: In the event of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact the Owner first. If the Owner or Emergency Contact cannot be reached, Maggie's Cuddle Crew is authorized to seek veterinary care.
- Expenses: All costs associated with emergency veterinary care are the sole responsibility of the Owner.
5. Home Access & Security
- Access: For in-home visits, the Owner must provide reliable access (keys, codes, or lockboxes).
- Liability: We are not responsible for damage to the home caused by the pet (e.g., chewing furniture, accidents) or for the loss of pets that have unsupervised access to the outdoors via doggie doors or unsecure fencing.
6. Photo & Media Release
- Owner grants/denies permission for Maggie's Cuddle Crew to take photos or videos of their pet(s) for the purpose of client updates and social media marketing. Note: We will never share your home address or sensitive personal details.
7. Text Messaging Opt-In
- Maggie's Cuddle Crew uses text messaging from (512) 866-2331 to communicate with customers about pet daycare, boarding, drop-in visits, and house sitting services. Messages include booking confirmations, schedule updates, appointment reminders, pickup and drop-off coordination, and customer support replies.
8. Limitation of Liability
- While we promise to provide the highest level of care, Maggie's Cuddle Crew and its contractors shall not be held liable for injury, disappearance, or death of a pet, or for property damage, unless such incident is caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct by the sitter.
9. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Any outstanding balances for services rendered must be paid immediately upon termination.
